Solar-DG Power Management System

Solar-DG Power Managment System shall be designed for proactive and reactive control of the solar pv system to optimize the operations of the facility while increasing its availability. Control of power through the PMS specificaly refers to its ability to allow operators to define the real power in kW flow between Solar PV system and DG. The PMS calculates when Inverter shedding is necessary to maintain generation-to-load equilibrium. The PMS system shall be using high speed control system to monitor and control the inverter output power. PMS shall automatically control and adjust the active power output of the solar pv inverters based on the real time measurements. This shall be the normal mode of operation. PMS shall be able to control the active power flow to consumer AC bus by issuing set-point to the inverters.
